It's been just over a year since Excel invested in our state-of-the-art steel rolling equipment from Faccin, and it's really paid out! We've been taking on job, after job, after job, fabricating stainless steel tanks and vessels both large and small.
All of our tanks and vessels can be fabricated from start to finish in-house thanks to our investment, where previously we would have had to send our stainless steel sheets out for rolling. This used to be a real logistical head-ache, organising transport to and from the rollers and adding a middle man to all of our tank projects.
Only in recent months have we really started to see the great benefits of having our own in-house roller; we're able to deliver more quickly and more efficiently, making Excel a go-to-guy for these kinds of jobs!
Just at present, we're fabricating a 70'000 litre ferric sulphate vessel, two 60'000 litre chemical storage vessels, and a much smaller 3'300 litre hot water storage vessel. Below is the freshly rolled sheet metal for the 70'000 litre, measuring in at 4x2 metres with a thickness of 4 millimetres.
